Western Rugs
Below a small pair of cube ottomans, covered in a grid pattern cloth, is a shell white curved table that sits just off the living room's seating. Celery's custom artwork, which is large and brings Texas's beautiful landscape inside, hangs over the table. Cowboy boots add a quintessential Texan touch. Open railings and staircases keep this house connected. The space's runner rug, a bold red-andblack design, leads the eye. This display of vintage Bracero headwear hangs on the stairway leading to a Mexican-inspired restaurant. The combination of the vintage Bracero hats and a rustic wood dresser along with metal horse heads mounted on metal horses heads gives it an authentic feel. Braceros were Mexican laborers that worked in California in WWII when American forces were fighting overseas.
